Christ Church EcoFestival 2007

What is Eco-Congregation?

Eco-congregation developed from a partnership between the Government funded environmental charity ENCAMS (which runs the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign and the Going for Green brand) and the Environmental Issues Network of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. It aims to encourage churches to consider environmental issues within a Christian context and enable local churches to make positive contributions in their life and mission.

Sunday 3rd June

12.30pm & 6.30pm

Christ Church, Copse Hill, SW20

Green Weekend
After our Eco-Festival on June 2nd, it is proposed that on Sunday 3rd we continue our celebrations of God’s creation by walking in it and drinking beer (or orange juice) in it! We will meet for lunch at the Crooked Billet pub at 12.30 pm and then go for a prayerful walk on God’s good earth once we’re suitably fortified! Children and adults welcome. There is a list to sign at the back of church, so that we give the pub a rough idea of how many we will be.

Eco-Festival Choral Evensong

There will be a special Choral Evensong on Trinity Sunday, after the Eco-Festival weekend, 6.30 p.m. , 3rd June 2007
