Children and young people are encouraged to be involved in all aspects
of worship at Christ Church. Young people are responsible for the
running of our Traidcraft stall after the 10.00 am service each week. We
have a group of junior servers who help at the 10.00 am service. We
welcome children into our choir which sings twice a month at the 10.00
am service. Children meet to practise at 6.30 pm on Friday evenings for
half an hour. Children are welcome to receive Holy Communion at Christ
Church, and groups for children aged 6+ are run each year to prepare
them for this. Young people join confirmation discussion groups once
they are 13+

PRAYER
See web page Prayer Intercession
Prayer is important to any church. We are called by
Christ to intercede, to plead, to pray, for those of concern to us,
those in need of God's grace and healing. Intercessions are offered at
all services on a Sunday - for the sick, the bereaved, those who have
died, those who are of special concern to us, those whose anniversary of
death has come round.
If you have a request for an intercession to be included in the church
prayers on Sunday please contact Revd Richard Lane:
e-mail :
westwimbledon@btinternet.com
A silent prayer group is held at 9:30 every Thursday morning in church.
In addition there is an
Accompanied Prayer Group at 7:45pm on the 1st
Tuesday of each month
