Christ Church’s mission for 2019: “New Vision”
Why a new vision?
Every five years Christ Church creates a Mission Action Plan, or MAP – a path to follow that will enhance and support our discipleship. Everything that we do in church, from the way we worship to the work that we do in the wider community, is underpinned by this mission statement. It has been five years since we last looked at our path of intent, so last September members of the congregation were invited to the Parish Awayday to brainstorm ideas for the next five years. Following this, a small steering group was formed to distil the ideas we’d discussed and create a mission statement to communicate and support our new vision.
