Services & Worship

With four services to choose from every Sunday, Christ Church offers a really Anglican variety of worship.

We begin the day at 8.00am in reflective mode with a Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion service.

At 10.00am the largest congregation gathers to celebrate the Parish Eucharist. Our Junior Church meets every Sunday at this service and after a welcoming word they go over to the church hall for their activities until they join us again to share communion. There is a crèche in church for pre-school children and the worship seeks to be inclusive of all ages.

On the first Sunday of each month we all stay together in church for a family communion service.

After coffee in church, we have our service for those exploring faith or who are new to church going - LifeLines at 11.30am. This 30-40 minute service is very relaxed and informal and there are plenty of young children present. It is a collection of songs readings and prayers and is a place to begin.

At 6.30pm we end the day quietly at Evensong and have a chance to rest with God as we come towards the end of the day.
